We provide psychological services for adolescents, young adults and adults across their lifespan. Peak Psychology Australia provides a safe, warm and compassionate space to encourage and empower clients to gain understanding, insight and self-awareness to manage emotions, reduce distress and improve overall mental health and wellbeing.
We guide clients on a personal development journey of self- discovery to improve self-worth, self-esteem and self-concept.
We are skilled clinicians who work collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals. We use an integrated intervention approach and tailor design individual treatment plans based on the unique needs of our clients.
ABOUT US
We are based at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges on Burwood Hwy in Upper Ferntree Gully for face-to-face services, we also offer telehealth appointments for clients all over Australia.
We work with community GP’s to provide a collaborative approach to therapy.
Therapy is a unique experience for everyone, and we provide a secure environment to work through psychological issues and life stressors. We will work with you to develop strategies to reduce symptoms and alleviate stress. We are dedicated to empowering clients to gain insight into their behaviors.

Our main areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma related issues, emotion regulation, interpersonal conflict, sleep disturbance and anger management.
We also offer general supportive counselling and provide practical everyday techniques to relieve emotional distress.
FEES AND REBATES
The cost of a consultation (usually around 50 minutes) is $180 ( general psychologist, Medicare rebate of $96.65 ) and $220 ( clinical psychologist, Medicare rebate $141.85 ) and payable in full on completion of your consultation.
If you are eligible or have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), the Medicare rebate or more is rebated into your linked account, depending on your Medicare circumstances.
To ensure Peak Psychology Australia provides the highest quality of care to our clients, please provide at least 24 hours' notice, otherwise a full cancellation fee will apply. Early cancellation notice would be appreciated, as this enables us to provide other clients a psychological service.
